Using This Website

You are welcome to read this site, look through the gallery and contact us about work. In return we ask that you use it lawfully and leave it working for everyone else.

• Do not use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its server or any connected system
• Do not upload or transmit malicious software of any kind
• Do not scrape, republish or resell our photographs, text or project descriptions
• Do not misuse the contact form for spam or automated submissions

Quotes, Estimates and Pricing

A number we give you on this website, over the phone, or in an emailed estimate is a quote. It is not a contract, and it does not start the work.

Every quote is based on what we could see and what you told us at the time. If the scope changes, or something turns up once a wall is open or a deck is lifted, we price that change in writing and you approve it before we carry on. What we quote is what you pay, as long as the job stays the job we quoted.

Work begins only once there is a written agreement signed by both of us. That agreement sets out the price, the schedule, the payment terms and everything else specific to your project. Where this page and that agreement ever disagree, the signed agreement governs.

Our Contractor License

Cademartori Construction holds California contractor license number 969495. California requires contractors to show that number in their advertising, which is why it appears here, in the footer and on our about page.

You can check the status of any California contractor license, ours included, through the Contractors State License Board at cslb.ca.gov. We would encourage you to check ours, and to check anyone else you are considering.

Where We Work

We take work in Placerville and across El Dorado County, including Pollock Pines, Camino, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs and El Dorado Hills.

If you sit just outside that area, ask anyway. Whether we can take a job depends on its size and how far it is from the shop, and we would rather tell you straight than have you guess.

Photographs, Text and Branding

The photographs, written descriptions, page layouts, logo and business name on this site belong to us unless we have credited someone else. They are the record of work we have done.

You may not copy, republish or use any of it in your own advertising. Contractors lifting other people's project photographs is common enough in this trade, and it is not something we overlook.

Linking to a page here is welcome. Copying the page is not.

Reviews and Testimonials

The reviews on this site are real. They were left by named customers on Google, and we reproduce them as written rather than editing them for tone.

They describe the projects those customers had done. They are not a promise that your project will run the same way, because no two sites, budgets or schedules are alike.

Accuracy of Information

We keep this site as accurate as we can. Descriptions of services, materials and certifications are correct at the time of writing, and manufacturer programs and product lines do change.

Nothing published here replaces a site visit. Pricing, feasibility and timelines all depend on the specific property, and we will not know any of them properly until we have stood on it.

No Warranty Through This Website

This website is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, free of every error, or compatible with every browser and device.

Warranties on construction work are a separate matter. Those are set out in your signed agreement and in the manufacturer warranties covering the materials we install. Nothing on this website creates, extends or replaces any of them.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Cademartori Construction is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or from relying on information published on it.

This limitation covers the website. It does not limit our responsibility for the construction work we perform, which is governed by your signed agreement, by our license and insurance, and by California law.

Third-Party Links and Services

This site links to and embeds material hosted by other companies. The maps on our home and contact pages, the manufacturer pages behind our certifications, and our Google reviews all sit elsewhere.

We link to them because they are useful, or because they let you verify something we have claimed. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy practices.

Privacy

What we collect through this site, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it are set out in our Privacy Policy. Using this website means you accept that policy alongside these terms.

Changes to the Site and These Terms

We add pages, replace photographs and update service descriptions as the business changes, and we may revise these terms at the same time.

The revision date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the current version.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising out of this website will be handled in the state or federal courts serving El Dorado County, California.
